OVERVIEW
Further to the manufacturing facilities in Bangalore Complex, a new manufacturing unit has been established at Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka as an extension to Bangalore Complex and commenced operations in May-2010.
The unit currently has a capacity to manufacture 250-300 Rail Coaches annually and will be ramped upto 600 Coaches per year progressively. The unit has been accredited ISO 9001:2008. The unit is well established with facilities required for the manufacture of Bogies & other Components for rail Coaches. Presently the unit is rolling out coaches independently.
